A__UHD Core Audio Engine

Lawo

Category:

A__UHD Core, the revolutionary IP DSP audio engine for Lawo mc² audio production consoles, is a network-based, software-defined device with unparalleled processing density: 1,024 mc²-grade DSP channels which can utilized by a single mc² console, or shared between multiple consoles with a Pooling license that allows DSP power to be split, powering up to four independent consoles with 256 fully-featured mc² DSP channels each. Four independent IP audio streaming engines, each with a redundant pair of 10*/1 GbE network ports, accommodate AoIP via the ST2110-30/-31, AES67 and RAVENNA standards. Each network interface supports up to 512 Rx/Tx streams, with sizes from 1 to 128 audio channels. Redundant hot-swappable PSUs and redundant IP network path capability with ST2022-7-Class C Seamless Protection Switching are standard.

Flexible licensing with fixed and temporary licenses can provide capabilities tailored to your needs on-demand, making A__UHD Core ideal for both mobile applications and facility use. For mobile, scaling DSP performance via temporary licenses is a great way to turn CAPEX into OPEX. In facilities, resource pooling and allocation of DSP resources to multiple physical and GUI-based mixing surfaces maximizes infrastructure ROI. Licenses stored on USB dongles can be conveniently downloaded for seamless transfers between units.
