A__stage WAN-Capable Audio-over-IP Stageboxes

Lawo

Category:

Lawo A__stage devices are powerful networked stageboxes that can be deployed as gateways for mc² consoles, audio extensions for the V__matrix ecosystem, or as stand-alone IP audio gateways. Their distributed audio connectivity makes it easy to scale I/O capacity in networked systems temporarily, or permanently.

SMPTE ST2110-compliant, brand-agnostic A__stage devices interconnect to a wide variety of IP-enabled broadcast devices and eliminate system design limitations like maximum channel count per frame, fixed channel capacity per device, and fixed system size. Audio endpoints connected to A__stage nodes can be seamlessly shared over LAN or WAN, and audio quality is exceptional: discrete, Class-A microphone preamplifiers deliver superb dynamic range of 119dB(A), ultra low noise at all gain levels and perfectly flat frequency response. Versatile analog I/O accommodates levels up to +24dBu before clipping. Insertable, precise sample rate conversion is available on each AES3 input. For multichannel baseband interfacing, A__line features bi-directional MADI access via SFP, and employ ST2110-30/31 and AES67 standards to transport uncompressed, real-time audio on Layer-3 IP networks. Dual-redundant network interfaces feature ST2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching with Class C specs for LAN and WAN deployment. A__stage48, A__stage64 and A__stage80 models are available, each with mic, line, AES3, MADI and GPI connectivity.
