Ultrix-IP allows the powerful and scalable Ultrix connectivity platform the capability to work in IP workflows. Designed as a modular platform Ultrix-IP provides the connectivity to do video and audio processing at the edges, or as nodes in a distributed large topology. Ultrix can act as simple bulk gateways between 2110 and SDI/Fiber from SD-SDI all the way up to 12G UHD single link data rates. In addition, you can add framesyncs, Multiviewers, clean/quiet switching, audio mixing and processing, production switchers and more through a series of software licenses and hardware to your pure 2110 or hybrid network. Ultricore-IP is a software license that brings NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 to the Ultricore control system. When used with the rest of the Ultricore suite of control features this license allows users the same configuration, same control surfaces, and same confidence switching and using IP based systems as they do baseband.
