This new intoPIX JPEG XS lightweight codec can be used in any LAN, WAN or cloud-based application which is sensitive to low latency and high quality. intoPIX follows the VSF TR07 (JPEG XS over MPEG2-TS) and the VSF TR08 (JPEG XS coding using SMPTE 2110-22) recommendations as JPEG XS focuses on very low latency and high-quality live video contribution and transmission.
