Novastar MX_1× ST2110 (25G)

Xi’an NovaStar Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NovaStar), a company that is dedicated in VoIP, has independently developed an SMPTE ST 2110 broadcast and television solution which is compatible with the MX6000 Pro/MX2000
Pro card-based LED display controllers that are initially designed with the SMPTE ST2110 input card. These controllers can give access to video sources to be directly input via a 25G optical port, thus, eliminating the need for external conversion devices as a result. This allows for video access at distances of up to 10km, greatly simplifying the on-site system structure. Integrated into standard IP systems, the LED display controllers is able to allow for flexible configuration options such as switching between input sources at broadcast control centers or production centers. That being said, this has introduced a new way of video management that relies on network switching, making video source management less complicated and widely applicable to broadcasting and filming scenarios.
