Mellanox Rivermax is truly the only commercial off the shelf solution that enables software-defined broadcast. Rivermax implements an optimized software library for media streaming applications. Rivermax runs on Mellanox ConnectX®-5 or higher network adapters, enabling the use of common off-the-shelf (COTS) servers for HD to Ultra HD flows. The Rivermax/Adapter cards combination also enables full compliance with SMPTE 2022/2110 including SMPTE 2110-21 timing. It reduces CPU utilization for video data streaming, and removes bottlenecks for the highest throughput – reaching 82 Gbps with a single CPU core. Mellanox Rivermax is fully JT-NM tested.
