IP Virtual Card

Deltacast

Supporting the broadcast industry transition to IP, DELTACAST developed the IP Virtual Card, a new programming interface allowing the use of 3rd-party NIC to capture and stream out video just like you are used to do over any DELTACAST card.
Designed from the ground up to allow accurate, PTP locked, high-performances capture and streaming using off-the-shelf network cards, the first version of the IP Virtual Card targets ST2110 connectivity (ST2110-20 video, ST2110-30 audio, and ST2110-40 ancillary data).
The IP Virtual Card exists in two flavors: operating system sockets for maximum compatibility and interoperability, or kernel bypass to unlock full performances.
