The HDCU-3500/3100 camera control unit adds IP capabilities to our full range of broadcast and studio system cameras, from the 4K HDC-3500 to HDC-3100 fibre system cameras. The compact HDCU supplies power to the camera, performs signal processing and provides an interface with external equipment. Combined with the HKCU-SFP50/-SFP30 option board, designed for the SMPTE ST 2110 Professional Media Over Managed IP Network suite of standards, the HDCU supports essential functionalities required for live IP production including IP Tally(TSL UMD v5.0), IP Intercom and IP Return. The HDCU-5000 is a full 19″ rack size Camera Control Unit with dual transmission capability, offering Ultra High Bitrate transmission for the flagship 4K HDC-5500 system camera and HD transmission for HDC-3500/3100 system cameras. This choice of transmission options broadens production flexibility for studio, outside broadcast (OB) and sports applications.
